This book is very dear to my heart. My sister read me this book at my baby shower twelve years ago and it sparked a love of children's books for my son and I. I continue to pass the tradition of this book to friends, family, children, and parents I come in counter with. My first year teaching I invited mothers, grandmothers, and aunts to a "Mothers Day Tea Party" and I read this book. I had never seen so many happy tears in my life!
Oh my-I had almost forgotten this book! My mom read this to me years ago and it really does bring tears to your eyes. This book is fantastic :)
